Dispute Process

Will my landlord know I submitted a review? +
Your landlord is notified that a review has been submitted about their property, and given 7 days to respond — but your name is never disclosed. The published review will only show "Verified Tenant · [Area] · [Year]".
What documents do I need to submit? +
Just your rental agreement. You can redact any personal information you're not comfortable sharing — we only need to verify the property address, tenancy period, and that you were a legitimate tenant.
How long does verification take? +
We aim to verify and publish reviews within 48 hours of receiving your rental agreement. You'll receive a confirmation email when your review goes live.
Can I submit a review for a current landlord? +
Yes, but we recommend caution if you're currently in tenancy. We suggest submitting after your tenancy ends and deposit is settled — when you have the full picture and no risk of retaliation.
What if my landlord disputes my review? +
The landlord can submit documentation disputing specific claims. We review both sides. If a claim is found to be factually incorrect, we amend or remove it. If the review is upheld, it remains published with the landlord's response.
Can I review a landlord for a property I rented years ago? +
Yes. There is no time limit. Old rental agreements are accepted. Historical reviews are valuable — especially for properties with long rental histories. We mark the tenancy year prominently in every review.
Is this free? +
Completely free for tenants. Always. Checking landlord reviews is free. Submitting reviews is free. LandlordScore is a public good — funded by PropIQ's broader platform, not by tenants.
Can I submit a positive review? +
Absolutely. Good landlords deserve recognition too. A landlord with 5 verified positive reviews is a genuine asset for future tenants — and an incentive for good landlord behaviour across the market.
